In the lab cafeteria, people went about happily eating their food. After a lot of hard, anal-retentive work, nothing was better than settling down to eat a nice, hot meal. The scientists focused on the task of eating so completely, that it was awhile before any of them noticed the sound. Or sounds, really. There were two rumbling stomping noises, and then a prolonged dragging, or scraping sound. There was nothing overly menacing about it, but it did sound odd. But then they heard a sound that they all knew far too well: the sound of Hoover shouting.
"GET OUT!" he yelled, sprinting into the cafeteria "RUN FOR YOUR LIVES! GET OUT OF HERE! NOW! SHE'S COMING!"
"Umm...who's coming?" asked one of the few scientists who wasn't bewildered into silence.
"Sarah Greenday!"
"...soooo...WHY do we have to run? I mean, she's kind of annoying, but not THAT annoying--"
"Because if you don't run, you'll die! And while I don't mind that, you'd be dying on lab property, so your damned relatives will probably end up suing ME! Oh, what a world, what a world..."
"But how could Sarah cause us to die? I mean--"
"SHE'S SO BIG, THAT SHE'LL CRUSH YOU ALL."
"Now, sir, that's uncalled for. Sure, she may be a bit...wide, but there's no need to call attention to it, or to talk about it behind her back. Besides, I've been told it's glandular--"
"YOU FOOLS!!! SHE'S GROWN!!!"
"Oh, no, so the Atkins diet didn't work for her? Shame. But I warned her--"
"SHE'S 20 FEET TALL!!!"
"...Huh?"
"AND SHE WEIGHS TONS!!!"
"...Sir, are you SURE we're talking about the same Sarah Greenday? Because it sounds to me--"
Plaster suddenly rained across the cafeteria, as Sarah's massive left arm burst throught the cieling, delicatley snatched up all the jell-o, and then disappeared back outside. There was then the sound of something being swallowed by as very large woman. There was then a sound like thunder, or an avalanche, or...Sarah Greenday's stomache rumbling.
Hoover looked back at all the other scientists, and then ran like hell. The others, realizing that something dangerous was indeed to happen, followed suit.
As Hoover and the other's emerged outside, they saw Sarah, looming over the cafeteria. She was the same size as she had been, but a growth spurt was clearly on the way. Her eyes were clenched shut, she was moaning, she was clutching and sinking her hands into her belly, and all over her, her multitudes of flab were undulating menacingly. And then, it happened. There was a sound like a mudslide as, in every direction, Sarah's corpulence blasted forth. The laboratory was sent flying clear off the grounnd by the sudden force of her mass, and it landed far away, full of very much alive, but incerdibly startled, scientists.
She also rose higher up into the air like dough as she grew taller, and all-around bigger. But her fatness was definitely the main marvel. As her growth eased to a halt, she...well, if she were of normal height, she'd be at least 30,000 pounds, which would, by itself, already have been ridiculous. But she was of abnormal height, so her true weight was far, far more.
Her belly stretched out far, far ahead of her, and to to her left and right, in numerous rolls. Her rear end trailed far behind, and to the sides, much farther then her arms could reach. Her titanically globular breasts now completely obscured vision, and her plump face could only see anthing by leaning against her back-fat, and looking up into the clear blue sky.
From far away, she looked like a blob. And really, up, close, she just looked like a blob, too, unless you knew where to look.
But, now completely immobile despite her mighy strength, Sarah was smiling. That jell-o had been good, and she felt, for once in her life, truly important. The only question now was how she would get her hands on more food, but she was sure an oppurtunity would arise.
Meanwhile, glaring at Sarah from the distance, Hoover was talking on his cell-phone.
"I'm telling you, general, she must be stopped. She's a threat to everyone in the country, I promise you. I know, killing her seems extreme, but--has she killed anyone? Well, um..." time to lie, for justice, thought Hoover. No one made him look like a fool and got away with it "Yes, she intentionally crushed several of her fellow scientists, while declaring how she was a mighty goddess, and that all needed to bow down before her--no, sir, I'm not making that up. She's a menace. Oh, sure, she looks like a harmless pile of blubber right now, but she's plotting something, believe me...what? you'll send in bombers? Oh, THANK YOU, sir! You've made a wise choice!...yes...yes, God Bless America. Godspeed, sir."
He turned his phone off, and then grinned wickedly, staring at Sarah.
"Bitch, you're gonna die..." he sneered.
